Shumei America - A Japan-based spiritual organization dedicated to promoting the wellbeing of all humankind through practicing the philosophy of its founder, Mokichi Okada or Meishusama. Makoto Taiko's origins stem from the membership of this organization.

Shumei Taiko Ensemble - Koji Nakamura's former taiko group. Makoto Taiko performs several compositions from this group such as Kaiko.

Shumei Arts Council - A 501(C)3 non-profit arts organization based in Pasadena which also hosts many cultural arts events at Shumei Hall. They have supported Makoto Taiko's progress as well. Please check out their upcoming events!
